Welcome to our rescue!

Featured Adoptable - Paco

Hey everyone! My name is Paco and I'm what foster mom calls a Chi-weenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund).

I'm 4 years old and a little guy, approximately 10 lbs. Foster mom says I'm super snuggly, whatever that means. I know I really like hanging out on the couch with her and I'll lay with my neck on her shoulder when given the chance.

I don't like meeting new people because they scare me, but I become really attached to my one special person. For this reason, it's best I don't go out in public places because I may not be nice to the people I meet. I can be a little bit of a resource guarder when it comes to my foster mom, but she says it's easy to manage, so I'll take her word for it. Being outside and going for walks is something I love to do. They say I'm very special in one way though, I love other dogs, especially the big ones! My favorite dog in my foster home is a very sweet 55 lb Pit Bull. I adore her! I sometimes run underneath her if something scares me.

While I'm not a big fan of being picked up, I listen well and jump up on furniture, in the car, and go into my crate when I'm asked, so it's not a big deal.

I'm neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines. You can find an adoption application at www.pawprintsnky.com.

A little about ourselves

PawPrints Animal Rescue was founded in 2015 in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati Tri-State area by a group of dedicated people with a passion for animals.  Our goal is to save as many lives as we can by saving all breeds of dogs and cats that are at risk of euthanasia in area shelters. With the help of an amazing group of volunteers, all our animals are fostered in loving homes until they are adopted.

We are an all volunteer organization and rely on donations from the public to cover medical expenses and necessary supplies.

PawPrints is a  501(c)3, nonprofit organization meaning any donations are tax deductible!
