Meet the Board.
Michelle Todd, President
Michelle has been a huge animal lover her whole life. There was never a time when there wasn't an animal in the home when she was growing up. Michelle dabbled in rescue for a number of years, helping in small ways, and then decided to jump feet first into it a few years ago, starting by volunteering with local shelters, doing transports and ultimately finding her niche in rescue.
She shares her home with a menagerie of pets and her kids have adopted the same love of animals, so you'll often see them helping out with PawPrints Animal Rescue. She is so excited to start this new venture and to save the many lives of dogs and cats!
Karen Baker, Treasurer
Karen has always been an animal lover and there always seems to be a stray lurking in the bushes. In 2008 Karen walked into a small rural shelter in Ohio and adopted a black dog and thought there had to be more she could do. So she started volunteering her time driving in transports. She did that for a few years then learned of a local rural shelter that needed help transporting animals to events on the weekends. So, Karen decided to focus her efforts locally and as time went by got more involved with the shelter and eventually a local rescue. Through all of this Karen met up with some great like-minded friends who have gotten together and decided to branch out on their own and start their own rescue adventure.
